About Your Coach

HELLO!

Meet Sarah Gherghel—nonprofit coach, systems thinker, and proud first-generation Romanian-American. With a Bachelor in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University and Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Sarah dedicates her career to helping organizations and communities grow with purpose and impact.

Her experience spans clinical therapy with foster youth in inner-city Detroit, youth-led initiatives addressing gun violence in St. Louis, faith-based development work in Thailand, Mexico, and Haiti, and project leadership with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library—where she led a powerful storytelling initiative capturing the impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities.

Now based in Charlotte, Sarah is the founder of SG Legacy Consulting, a certified coach of the Next Level Operating System, and proudly serves on the board of Children of the World Learning Center.

Her mission? To help visionary nonprofit leaders turn potential into lasting progress through systems that align people, purpose, and impact.
